Hamilton Taggart Women’s Pro – Surfest 2016

Newcastle turned on a glorious day at Merewether Beach on Sunday for the final day of Surfest 2016.

Australian Sally Fitzgibbons took-out the Hamilton Taggart Business Advisors Women’s Pro while fellow Aussie World Champion Steph Gilmore came in a competitive second. In the men’s tournament Central Coast surfer, Matt Wilkinson, out-surfed some of the world’s best to take out the Maitland and Port Stephens Toyota Pro.

For our team, Surfest was an amazing opportunity to work with the Surfest family, our fellow Women’s Pro crowd funding mates and the wider Hunter community to promote this very special international event in our region.
