Hamilton Taggart Business Advisors is a proudly family-run Newcastle accounting business that has been helping small and medium business thrive in the Hunter since 1952.

An excellent opportunity exists for a bookkeeper with MYOB and Xero experience to join our team. This is a part time role with a view to building to full time. We also offer flexible working arrangements.

Key Duties

The key duties and responsibilities of this role are;

  • Statutory reporting including BAS, IAS and Superannuation
  • Processing accounts payable and receivable
  • Payroll processing and reporting
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Journal Entries

Qualities

The successful candidate will possess the following qualities;

  • Attention to detail
  • Loyal and trustworthy with proven ability to handle private and confidential information

Experience

To be considered for this position you will have at least one of the following ;

  • 2 -3 years experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience with Microsoft suite products, Xero and MYOB
